Rita Sousa Santos is a nutritionist with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition. She is passionate about exploring how nutrition can support healthy ageing and longevity, focusing on how factors such as muscle strength, body composition, and vitamin D levels shape health and energy throughout life.
Her research has been shared in academic and professional settings, and she has taught at several universities. She is currently a lecturer at CESPU, where she combines scientific rigor with the experience of sharing nutrition knowledge with future professionals.
Rita believes that while nutrition science can be complex, looking after your health shouldn't be. She enjoys translating scientific knowledge into simple, useful guidance that promotes everyday wellbeing.
